How your quote is calculated
The price of each tape depends on the total number of tapes in your order, not on how long each one runs: all home tapes (VHS, S-VHS, VHS-C, Video8, Hi8 and MiniDV) count together for the price band.
- •Tapes up to 180 minutes: €15 per tape for 1 to 9 tapes, €12 for 10 to 19 and €10 from 20.
- •Tapes over 180 minutes (E-240, E-300…): €18, €15 or €12 by the same volume.
- •NTSC or SECAM tapes: +50%. Professional file (ProRes or other): +25%. Together they add up: +75%.
- •Blank or damaged tapes: checked and not charged.
- •Online download included. Optional USB drive from €14 depending on capacity.
- •Transport: €10 per trip with NACEX, or free if you bring it to the lab.
- •Turnaround: one week for up to 10 tapes; two weeks on average from 10.
Examples
- 5 two-hour VHS tapes: 5 × €15 = €75.
- 12 tapes (10 VHS and 2 over 180 minutes): 10 × €12 + 2 × €15 = €150.
- 25 Hi8 and MiniDV tapes: 25 × €10 = €250.
- 1 NTSC tape in ProRes: €15 + 75% = €26.25.
All prices include 21% VAT. The final amount is confirmed when we check the material in the lab: a tape with no content is not charged.
